The COVID pandemic paved the path to a unique music-therapy inspired, interdisciplinary patient care model through a virtual platform to continue serenading sick and isolated hospitalized patients from a long distance. Harmony4Healing has enabled our youth musicians to self-record music, which is then employed by hospitals as a collection of recorded music albums for patients to access. Through this virtual platform, our youth musicians continued to deliver the myriad benefits of music in patient recovery during the pandemic and to date.
At Harmony 4 Healing, we believe in the transformative power of music. Founded by a passionate group of college students, our mission is to bring joy and comfort to those in need through live musical performances. Our talented musicians travel to hospitals and care centers, where we play a diverse range of instruments and genres, tailored to uplift and soothe our patients. Each note is a testament to our dedication to creating moments of serenity and happiness. Our volunteer-driven initiative combines musical skill with heartfelt compassion, aiming to brighten the lives of those facing challenging times. Through our melodies, we hope to inspire hope, healing, and a sense of connection in every performance.
Harmony 4 Healing provides virtual musical performances for patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare environments to reduce stress. Our goal is to promote feelings of well-being, happiness, and empathy through the medium of music and music-initiated conversations to actively assist in the healing process. We aim to improve patient quality of life and uplift patient care using music therapy.:
